If you are looking for something to do with your dad (or grandad) for Father’s Day, discover all kinds of father-friendly activities at Croydon Heritage Festival 18 – 26 June.
Family Day out Dads
Saturday 18 – Croydon’s favourite festival starts in familiar style on Heritage Day by taking over the town centre for the day. Street performers will entertain festival visitors with hilarious antics, can you spot Holmes and Watson? Music and performances from Croydon’s hottest talents take the stage outside the Whitgift Centre. Community stalls line the street, selling goods and promoting their work. For more hands-on dads, there will be craft workshops for our younger explorers in the Whitgift Centre, why not make a spyglass and then enter our iSpy competition?
Military History Dads
Sunday – 19 – If your dad has not had time to visit Whitgift School’s celebrated exhibition Remembering 1916 – Life on the Western Front, then this will be the highlight of his day. Plus there will be FREE entry to all fathers who are accompanied with their child.
Friday 24 – A Croydon Library talk discovering the stories of Croydon men who were conscientious objectors during the First World War. FREE
The great outdoors Dads

On this tour, you’ll experience many wildlife aspects of the wood. 2pm – 4pm FREE
